Virtual Resources for Student Organizations


CSI highly encourages student organizations to continue to connect and engage by holding events virtually! The CSI Advising team is committed to providing support navigating the virtual student organization experience. 





Per the Chancellor/RTL, for the safety of our campus community, no in-person events may be held on campus through May 31, 2020.

Per the Chancellor’s 12/11 Return to Learn campus notice:

“To reduce opportunities for the spread of COVID-19, all in-person events taking place on campus through May 31, 2021, must be presented in virtual formats, rescheduled for a future date or cancelled.”


All registered student organizations hosting virtual events are expected to follow the event guidelines and planning process. If you have questions, please contact your CSI Student Organization Advisor.

All student organizations hosting virtual events, with the exception of virtual meetings and virtual dance practices, must submit event details to CSI. 

Virtual Events NOT Using University Funding

Virtual Events Using University Funding

  • Must be TAP’d 21 days prior to the event 
  • Once you begin TAP, please select “Virtual Event” under the “Event Category”

In-Person Events (once permitted)

  • Must be TAP’d 21 days prior to the event

All Student Organizations holding virtual events must agree to the Risk Management waiver pertaining to virtual events. This waiver is included on both TAP and the Student Org Virtual Event Form.

Drop-In Advising Hours - Spring 2021:

  • Mondays: 10am-12pm and 2-3pm
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 1-3pm
  • Wednesdays and Fridays: 10am-12pm
