List of Official Student Organizations

Get involved in one of over 600 UC San Diego student organizations!

Participate in our annual Student Organizations Fair during Fall Quarter to connect with organization members. Principal members will be on hand to explain how to get involved and give details about their organization’s purpose, annual events, upcoming meetings and more!

Student organizations focus areas include:

  • Academic: Delve into your academic discipline and develop closer ties with your
    academic department or program.
  • Cooperative / Enterprise: Cooperative organizations provide consumer goods and services to the campus community. Increase your skills and learn the art of managing a business.
  • Cultural: Help create a sense of community on campus by sharing your beliefs, customs and traditions.
  • Dance: Find your movement and style in our various dance organizations.
  • Educational: Get involved and help educate UCSD and local communities about important issues and ideas.
  • Health Professions: Network with health professionals, take part in workshops and seminars, and put your skills into practice.
  • Martial Arts: Get involved and stay active in our various martial arts organizations.
  • Media: Print, film, stage and online media provide information, news, and opportunities for expression.
  • Music & Performance: Participate, engage, and appreciate music, theater, and performance arts!
  • Political: Actively bring information to the campus community about political views and current political issues.
  • Pre-Professional: Gain experience, knowledge and guidance for your future career through networking, seminars, workshops and professional mentoring.
  • Service: Give back to the community through community service and civic engagement activities, at home and abroad.
  • Social: Take a break from studying and have fun with people who share your interests.
  • Spiritual: Connect with others who share your beliefs and values, to continue on your spiritual quest.
  • Student Affirmative Action Committee (SAAC):  Get involved and help educate UCSD and local communities about important issues and ideas.

Student organizations will begin registering for the 2020/21 academic year on Monday, August 24. Please be sure to check back regularly throughout Fall Quarter for the most up to date list of registered student organizations!
