Student Leadership Conference

Registration is live for the 2026 Student Leadership Conference

The Student Leadership Conference is a free, one-day, on-campus event open to all UC San Diego undergraduates. Hosted by the Communication and Leadership program in collaboration with Sorority and Fraternity Life, the conference will take place on January 23, 2026 at East Ballroom in the Price Center.

This year’s theme, “Lights, Camera, Lead!”, invites students to explore leadership through the lens of storytelling and performance! Recognizing that as leaders, they’ll play many roles. Sometimes they’ll direct, sometimes they’ll take the stage, and other times they’ll observe and learn from the audience. From working “behind the scenes” (skill building) to being “performance ready” (leading), this year’s conference spotlights the diverse journeys and stories that shape leadership growth.

Students will participate in hands-on workshops and dialogue circles focused on self-confidence, communication, and leadership development. They’ll also have opportunities to network, articulate their goals, and gain tools for success beyond graduation.

Save the date for the 3rd Annual Student Leadership Conference on January 23, 2026, and get ready to take the lead!
