Following the summer residential retreat, workshops, peer mentoring, and resources are offered (at no additional costs) to provide the TCLI community with on-going support.

What’s included:

  • Monthly workshops on stress relief, campus resources, and community-building
  • Monthly peer mentor meet-ups
  • Occasional off-campus trips to engage with the San Diego community
  • Frequent workshops to develop your communication and leadership skills
  • Subscription to specialized biweekly electronic newsletters highlighting campus resources, involvement and job opportunities, and upcoming events

    • These gatherings offer mentees opportunities to gather in small groups with other mentees to engage in an activity, visit a campus resource, or attend an on-campus event.

    TCLI See San Diego:

    TCLI See San DIego is an opportunity for mentees to explore the greater San Diego community and engage in service. This year, TCLI hosted their first virtual TCLI See San Diego! Co-Curricular Record Approved - UC San Diego

TCLI mentees who complete all the requirements below are eligible to receive validation of TCLI on their Co-Curricular Record:

  • Participate in the TCLI Summer Retreat (July 25 - 28, 2022)
  • Complete the TCLI Pre and Post Assessment Surveys
  • Meet with Mentor at least 3 times per quarter
  • Participate in at least 1 TCLI Friday per quarter
  • Participate in at least 1 Group Coaching Session
  • Submit an end-of-the-year reflection project
